Anaïs

Urban Raised,
Caribbean Inspired 

A Native New Yorker, Anaïs grew up an avid traveler and immersed in the arts. Fresh out of college Anaïs found her community in the Virgin Islands where she began her journey as a jeweler.

In 2017, birth captivated Anaïs when she found herself supporting a friend in labor. From there a deep love grew. While making jewelry, she went on to become CD(DONA) and PCD(DONA) certified, landing her jobs traveling as a birth and postpartum doula. Her nature to nurture mothers in their most powerful yet vulnerable hours is a sentiment that gives her great purpose. 

After nine years as a jeweler and five years as a doula, Anaïs and Alaïa was born. Combining her passion for traveling and movement, Anaïs draws inspiration from her life and her ever changing surroundings. 

Anaïs and Alaïa is a full circle business, creating wearable art and giving back in active service to the maternal health community.  

Each piece of jewelry is handmade with intention, an ethos in Anaïs’ life.
