Brown Custom Memorial Pendant with White and Yellow 14k Gold and alexandrite bezel stone, this special piece is a way to honor and hold a loved one. 

This design is a collaboration by the truest sense of the word. Created between Eyeba and Anaïs & Alaïa and a customers dream to memorize her father. The customer felt strongly about keeping the integrity of her late father's prosthetic, so together we worked closely to design a frame that felt sturdy and secure while letting letting the essence of the eye take the lead. Quality metals of white and yellow 14k gold are what make this piece sturdy and timeless, with a shimmer of an alexandrite stone bezel set at the base of the bale. 

Statement from Artist, Anaïs: This piece was extra moving and powerful to work on. The customer allowed me time to work on this special piece. She had clear direction on leaving the prosthetic eye in its original shape and form. As I being working on this order it quickly became clear to me that this piece came from something larger than myself, after all it had been the window into the customer's fathers soul. Being able to give this piece a new life, and now to be worn and cherished close to the customers heart made this specific custom piece extremely memorable and touching. My hope is that the pendant invites the customer to move through the world with presence and the protection and love of her late father.

In these collaborations with Eyeba x AA, each eye is individually hand-painted making each unique, just like our eyes.  No two pieces are identical, reinforcing the intention behind small-batch, artisan-made jewelry. 

This custom was made extra special, as the eye was brought to our studio to build wearable art around it.
