In almost every culture the symbolism of the eye is powerful; in many, it’s a symbol of psychic vision and enlightenment.  For her, they’re not just jewelry but also a sort of comfort tool. They can represent a loved one, a memorial piece (a person or feeling one is trying to hold on to), a lover's eye, a child, or the guidance of a parent.
